On 14 June 2026, a health check-up service was conducted at the Health Infirmary located at Shefali Sushama Parking, Satberia, North 24 Parganas. The programme was facilitated by Dr. Subrato Biswas (MBBS, MD FMT) with the objective of providing accessible healthcare services to truck drivers and transport workers.
A total of 11 beneficiaries received medical consultations and health support services. Among them, 8 beneficiaries received MACT services while 3 beneficiaries received over-the-counter treatment support. Truck drivers from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and West Bengal participated in the programme.
The common health concerns reported during the check-up included cough, body pain, fever, weakness, and the need for blood sugar testing. The initiative helped ensure timely medical attention and health guidance for individuals who often face challenges in accessing regular healthcare services due to the nature of their work.
Alongside the health services, document updating work related to the project was also successfully completed.
